David Omari Review: BBB Complaints, YouTube Automation & What You Should Know Before Paying

Can you really build a profitable YouTube channel without showing your face, or is the promise of easy online income more complicated than it sounds? In this David Omari review, we’re looking at the business model, customer complaints, and the questions you should ask before spending your hard-earned money.

Listen, I love seeing people find ways to make money online. That’s what Success With Trecia is all about. But there’s something I love even more: helping people keep their money when an opportunity hasn’t earned their trust yet.

And when somebody is selling a course or a done-for-you business opportunity, I want to know exactly what customers are getting for their money.

Before we get into the details, watch my video review below. Then keep reading for additional information, consumer reviews, and resources you can check yourself.

Who Is David Omari?

David Omari is an online entrepreneur and marketer known for promoting YouTube automation and faceless YouTube channels.

The basic concept sounds appealing: build a YouTube channel, create videos without appearing on camera, and potentially earn money through advertising and other monetization methods.

Omari has discussed his claimed financial success with this business model in interviews, including a 2023 episode of The Passionate Few about building a seven-figure YouTube business.

But here’s where we need to separate two things: a business model that can work and a particular training program that may or may not be worth its price.

Those are not the same thing.

What Is YouTube Automation, Anyway?

YouTube automation generally means creating videos using a repeatable production system. Instead of personally handling every task, a channel owner may use freelancers, software, or a production team.

For example, a faceless YouTube channel might involve:

  • Researching topics people are searching for.
  • Writing scripts for informational or entertaining videos.
  • Hiring voiceover artists or using appropriately licensed voice technology.
  • Editing videos using original or properly licensed footage.
  • Creating thumbnails and optimizing titles.
  • Publishing consistently and analyzing performance.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with this model. Plenty of creators produce successful videos without appearing on camera.

But here’s the catch.

YouTube automation does not mean guaranteed passive income. Someone still has to research, manage production, pay expenses, maintain quality, and build an audience. Outsourcing the work doesn’t eliminate the work or the financial risk.

David Omari and the Better Business Bureau: What Should You Know?

One of the places I recommend checking before purchasing an expensive online training program is the Better Business Bureau, commonly called the BBB.

A BBB profile can provide information about a company’s accreditation status, customer complaints, complaint responses, and business practices.

David Omari Social Media Academy LLC has been associated with a BBB business profile that consumers can review.

Rather than relying on screenshots or outdated numbers, I recommend opening the live profile and checking the current rating and complaint history yourself.

View the BBB Business Profile

When you examine a BBB listing, pay particular attention to whether complaints involve similar problems, how the business responds, and whether the customer reports that the issue was resolved.

Remember, a customer complaint is an allegation, not automatically proof that a company committed fraud. Likewise, BBB accreditation alone does not guarantee a positive customer experience.

What Are Customers Saying About David Omari?

Public reviews of davidomari.com on Trustpilot show a mix of experiences, including enthusiastic endorsements and strongly negative accounts.

Some positive reviewers describe helpful training, useful explanations of faceless content creation, and encouragement to build their own channels.

However, some negative reviewers have raised concerns involving:

  • Refund disputes: Customers alleging that getting their money back was more difficult than expected.
  • Additional costs: Complaints about higher-priced services or upgrades beyond an initial offer.
  • Customer support: Reports of delayed replies or difficulty reaching someone for help.
  • Course expectations: Disappointment about the depth of training or what was included.
  • Done-for-you services: Disagreements about how much work was actually handled for the customer.

These are accounts published by individual reviewers. I have not independently verified each customer’s experience, and they should not be treated as established findings of wrongdoing.

It’s also important to consider favorable reviews and recognize that online review platforms may not represent every customer’s experience.

The Problem With Expensive Make-Money-Online Courses

Here’s something I want beginners to understand.

Paying for a course is not necessarily a bad decision. Good training can save time, explain complicated processes, and help people avoid beginner mistakes.

But the price of a course doesn’t tell you whether the information is valuable, accurate, current, or suitable for your situation.

And a course purchase is not the same thing as buying a profitable business.

Watch Out for the Real Total Cost

Imagine buying a YouTube training program and then discovering you also need to pay for video editing, scripts, voiceovers, thumbnails, software subscriptions, or additional coaching.

Those expenses can add up quickly.

Before purchasing, ask for a written breakdown of everything included in the advertised price and everything that will cost extra.

Understand the Refund Policy Before You Buy

Don’t rely solely on what you remember hearing in a webinar.

Read the written refund policy carefully. Look for deadlines, conditions, exclusions, and any requirements to complete training or submit assignments before requesting a refund.

Save a copy of the offer, checkout page, contract, and refund terms as they appeared when you purchased.

Can You Really Make Money With Faceless YouTube Channels?

Yes, faceless channels can earn money. But that doesn’t mean every channel will succeed or that every paid program can reliably reproduce someone else’s results.

To earn advertising revenue through YouTube, creators generally need to meet the applicable YouTube Partner Program eligibility requirements and comply with the platform’s monetization policies.

YouTube also evaluates originality, reused content, and repetitive or mass-produced content. Simply uploading large numbers of automated videos is not a guarantee of monetization.

Learn more from YouTube’s official Partner Program requirements.

My advice:

Learn how to create and publish a few videos yourself before spending thousands of dollars on a team or expensive coaching program. You’ll better understand the process, the expenses, and whether this is a business you actually want to operate.

Seven Questions to Ask Before Buying a YouTube Automation Course

  1. What exactly am I purchasing? A course, group coaching, personal mentoring, or a fully managed channel?
  2. What is the total price? Include upgrades, subscriptions, freelancers, and recurring fees.
  3. Can I see the curriculum? Ask for specific lesson topics and how recently the training was updated.
  4. What results can be independently verified? Don’t confuse revenue screenshots with audited profit or typical customer results.
  5. What happens if the channel earns nothing? Understand who carries the financial risk.
  6. What are the refund conditions? Get the complete policy in writing before paying.
  7. Who owns the finished channel and content? Confirm access, intellectual property rights, and what happens if the service ends.

My David Omari Review: Should You Buy His Program?

My position is simple: I would not recommend rushing into an expensive training or done-for-you package without carefully investigating the company, the offer, and the contract.

The publicly posted complaints deserve attention, particularly when customers describe problems involving money, services, or refunds.

At the same time, complaints alone don’t establish that every purchaser had the same experience or that the business is fraudulent.

What matters is whether the company can clearly explain what you’re buying, support its marketing claims, show credible evidence of customer outcomes, and honor its written commitments.

If you can’t get satisfactory answers before paying, keeping your money is a reasonable decision.

What If You’ve Already Purchased a Course and Have a Problem?

If you’re experiencing a billing dispute, missing services, or difficulty obtaining a refund, start by gathering your documentation.

  • Save your receipt, contract, and original sales offer.
  • Keep copies of emails, messages, and support requests.
  • Request a resolution in writing and explain the specific problem.
  • If appropriate, contact your card issuer promptly about its dispute process and deadlines.
  • Consider filing a factual complaint with the BBB or reporting potentially deceptive business practices to the FTC.

You can report suspected deceptive business practices through ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is David Omari’s YouTube automation program a scam?

Public customer complaints raise questions worth investigating, but they do not by themselves establish fraud. Review the actual offer, written terms, customer experiences, and available evidence before making a decision.

Does David Omari have BBB complaints?

A BBB business profile associated with David Omari Social Media Academy LLC is available for consumers to examine. Check the live listing for current complaint information and business responses.

Can beginners start a faceless YouTube channel for free?

Yes. Beginners can learn the basics using free educational resources and low-cost production tools. Creating a channel is free, although producing videos may involve expenses and earning revenue is not guaranteed.

Is a done-for-you YouTube channel truly passive income?

Not necessarily. Even outsourced channels require oversight, expenses, quality control, and compliance with YouTube’s rules.

Final Thoughts From Trecia

I’m all for entrepreneurship. I’m all for learning new skills. And I’m definitely all for finding ways to make money without having to punch somebody else’s clock forever.

But I am not for people putting themselves into financial trouble because a sales presentation made success sound easier or more certain than it really is.

Whether you’re considering David Omari’s training or any other online business program, remember this:

You do not have to pay thousands of dollars just to begin learning how YouTube works.

Do your research, understand the risks, and make sure the opportunity makes financial sense for you.

And if you’ve had an experience with David Omari’s program, positive or negative, feel free to share your firsthand experience in the comments. Keep it factual and respectful so other readers can learn from it.
